One Founder, Many Reasons
1934 Adelbert Haas founds his company and builds universal grinding machines for the local clockmaking, precision engineering, and medical engineering industries.
1982 Haas delivers its first NC grinding machine. The customers are delighted.
1989 The first five-axis grinding machine from Trossingen is introduced at the EMO trade fair in Hannover.
1990 Haas launches its own software department.
1998 The company introduces the Multigrind® HT. A technological success, more than 400 of which were sold.
2007 The new Multigrind® CB grinding machine exceeds all expectations at the EMO trade fair. The flagship of the HAAS family of grinding machines set new standards in the industry, including in design.
2010 Haas introduces the Multigrind® CA onto the market. The second machine built in Haas’s Multicube design, the CA offers maximum performance in minimal space.
2012 Haas introduces the the new Multigrind® Horizon grinding software at the GrindTec. The shape-based software is based on a completely new architecture. New horizons when it comes to user-friendliness!
2013 in November, Haas moves into its newly completed headquarters located at Adelbert-Haas-Straße 1, named after the company’s founder.
In December 2013, the company introduces assembly line production, which optimizes the manufacture of Multigrind systems and takes the increased number of orders into account.
At the 2014 AMB, Haas presented the compact, space-saving Multigrind® CU grinding center with a footprint of just 3.8 m2 and impressive technical equipment and performance.
