Life instead of Mission Statements

What actually differentiates a so-called “global player” from a keen, medium-sized engineering firm whose grinding machines can be found on every continent?

Customers that have known us for a while say that it is the noticeably flat hierarchies and our open, people-oriented corporate culture. And that isn’t something found on a piece of paper under the title “Mission Statement,” but instead is something we live out every day.

Close connections and open doors create a working environment where something new is constantly being created. Products and processes are discussed, tested, rejected (yes, this is also part of the process), improved, and when everyone involved is happy, presented to the customer.
